In 2018, Ryan Block was spending his days working as a property manager for a rental company in Florida. After a couple of years of learning the ropes of the industry and the local market, he and his wife decided to take the plunge and venture out on their own. They started Dream Vacation Rentals in 2018 with one unit in Sanibel, Florida. Fast-forward to 2021, and they now oversee a short-term rental empire with over 100 properties under management.

“If you treat owners right, and you treat guests right, it builds,” explained Ryan about how they were able to grow their business so quickly. “The challenge comes, however, managing that many properties.
