Going Beyond with Federico Tarantino

Four years in, two promotions, still excited about what's next. Meet Federico, Team Leader of Beyond's Customer Support team.

In our latest Going Beyond blog post, our series that aims to show what it’s really like to work at Beyond, we spoke to Federico Tarantino to learn more about her experience at Beyond.

Fede is our Team Leader for our Support team, and below, he discusses his journey to Beyond, his experience, and what he loves most about being part of our dynamic company.

What brought you to Beyond?

What brought me to Beyond was the desire to take on a new challenge and grow professionally.

Beyond seemed to have everything I was looking for: a positive, supportive environment where I could develop my skills, take on new responsibilities, and build my career.

I was also drawn to the company’s mindset, professional yet human-centered, which creates a space where people are encouraged to learn, contribute, and grow together.

How long have you been at Beyond, and what is your role?

Soon it’s going to be 4 years! Time flies! I’m currently the Team Leader of the Customer Support team.

You’ve been at Beyond for more than three years. Tell us about your career path at Beyond.

I started at Beyond as a Customer Support Specialist, then progressed to a Senior role, and more recently, I was promoted to Team Leader.

I’m thrilled to have moved up to a higher role within my team and excited to continue growing and contributing to our success.

How does your work help support other teams across the company?

My work helps support other teams across Beyond by taking care of the customer journey and ensuring customer satisfaction.

I assist with resolving doubts, concerns, and questions about accounts or general information about Beyond and our products.

In doing so, I often serve as a point of contact for different teams within Beyond, helping to connect information and processes across the company; after all, we’re all part of the same team!

How would you describe Beyond’s customer support team, and what do you think makes it unique compared to other places you’ve worked?

I would describe Beyond’s customer support team as a finely tuned machine: it works best when all parts collaborate.

Teamwork is key, and we help each other, share knowledge, and deliver results in a diligent and caring way. What makes the team unique is Beyond’s modern, professional, and human-centered mindset.

The environment is welcoming and familiar, made up of people who genuinely care about you and the work you do, which allows us to consistently provide thoughtful, satisfactory experiences for our customers.

What are you most excited about for the future?

I’m most excited to see where Beyond will be in the future. The company keeps growing, constantly introducing new features and surprises, which makes every day dynamic and full of opportunities.

I’m also excited to see where I will be at that moment and in which role, taking on new challenges, and continuing to grow within the company. Beyond offers many possibilities for career development, and I really appreciate how people here take care of your future path, supporting your growth and helping you explore opportunities inside the company.

What is your favorite part about working at Beyond?

My favorite part about working at Beyond is definitely the reciprocal trust and human touch.

There’s a real feeling of being heard when it comes to your needs and your dreams, and the company genuinely supports your growth and development. I also value the people I work with, as they make the environment supportive, collaborative, and inspiring.

Another aspect I truly appreciate is the ability to maintain a great balance between work and personal life. Beyond offers flexibility, including the possibility to work remotely, which allows you to be productive while still taking care of yourself and your personal priorities.
