“We are a family-owned vacation rental business, and we would consider ourselves more boutique. We focus on a variety of well-appointed vacation rentals in the North Lake Tahoe area,” said Holly Jacobson, Owner & Operator of Tahoe Mountain Properties.

Kate Schmidt, Director of Sales & Marketing at Crested Butte Lodging, talked with us about how partnering with Beyond has helped to increase revenue and led to a flexible, modern revenue management strategy. “We’ve seen our numbers growing this past year. Having a dynamic tool to really take advantage of these times in the market and to be flexible has increased our revenue,” said Kate.
Dream Vacation Rentals
In 2018, Ryan Block was spending his days working as a property manager for a rental company in Florida. After a couple of years of learning the ropes of the industry and the local market, he and his wife decided to take the plunge and venture out on their own. They started Dream Vacation Rentals in 2018 with one unit in Sanibel, Florida. Fast-forward to 2021, and they now oversee a short-term rental empire with over 100 properties under management.
Living Las Canteras
Recognized as one of the best urban beaches around the world, Las Canteras Beach of the Canary Islands, Spain has miles of golden sand, top snorkeling spots, and beachfront cafes. Juan Betancor, founder and owner of Living Las Canteras, grew up in the area and has deep ties to the hospitality community there, helping his family run tourist apartments when he was young. Juan founded his vacation rental business in 2011 with the aim of offering a premium experience in short and medium-term rentals on the beautiful Las Canteras Beach.
Four Seasons Property Management
In the Lake of the Ozarks region, there is no one better to show you around than John Custer, part-owner and manager of Four Seasons Property Management Company. As a self-described Lakeologist, John can tell you more than just the best activities and attractions in the area. He can tell you about the best boat docks, hidden fishing spots, and more insider tips.
Hostenga
Hostenga is a full-service concierge platform for people who want to list their short-term rentals but don’t want to do any of the work. With operations in over a dozen cities across France, they make it easy by taking care of everything you need to list and make money from a short-term rental property, from welcoming visitors and checking guests in and out, to managing announcements and co-ordinating cleaning.
With such a diverse book of rentals including central apartments, mountain retreats and luxurious villas, Hostenga doesn’t do it all alone. They depend on Beyond’s dynamic pricing tool to make sure they are getting the best average daily rates (ADRs) for the properties they manage.
Before using Beyond, Hostenga felt the pressure of keeping up when it came to adjusting the prices on the hundreds of properties they oversee. They knew they were losing money by not being flexible fast enough in responding to demand—not because they didn’t want to, but because they just didn’t have the time.
The LakeStay
Aimun Nieto will admit it freely—she’s not a property manager. Her experience is in construction, so when she and her husband took over The LakeStay, a gorgeous lakeside community of vacation rental homes in Carlton Landing, Oklahoma, they weren’t sure even sure how to transform from a construction into a property management company.
Host & Stay
Host & Stay's mission is to help make the UK one of the most popular, guest-centric holiday destinations in the world. Their approach and demeanor to how they run their business is all about customer service - including ensuring their owners are happy. To learn more about their experience with Beyond, we spoke to Ben Duncan, the finance director of Host & Stay.
VTrips
Chad Blankenship knew he had a problem. Every November, he would lock himself in a conference room with a stack of papers, each one of the more than 900 properties they managed, and manually set the price for each property for the coming year. “I would just take a look at the previous year’s projection for each of the properties and see how we did,” Chad explains.
Best Beach Getaways
In 2008, two property owners on the Emerald Coast of Florida sat down and listed all the things that were wrong about the short-term vacation rental industry. They thought that if a rental property company would just have the same mindset as the actual owners - taking care of the property, providing value for clients, and maximizing owner ROI - they could have a successful company. And that is how Best Beach Getaways began.
Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals
In 2008, Yonder Luxury Vacation Rentals started off as a gamble. Owners Steve and Donna Frellick had several high-end timber frame spec homes that had gone unsold, they were worried about what to do with these unsold properties.
They decided to list them as short-term rentals, and immediately were able to get bookings. So much, in fact, that they decided to shift their business model from selling homes to renting them—managing not only the properties they own, but the properties of other owners as well. Today, Yonder is a wildly successful company, with more than 200 properties under management in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain region of North Carolina.
